What is the Mobile Installation Process?

How does mobile installation work? +

You can book online, call, or chat with us. We’ll dispatch an installer directly to your location. Most of the time, the installation fee is already included in the price—no hidden charges except for applicable taxes. If the installer is nearby, there’s no mileage fee. If they must travel farther, a small mileage fee may apply.

When will my mobile installer arrive? +

In most cases, Your Mobile Tech providers use tracking features similar to Uber or Lyft. You’ll receive an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), updates when they’re on the way, and you can communicate directly with your technician. If we dispatch through a third-party network, we’ll provide as much tracking and communication as possible.

What brands do you carry? +

We carry a wide selection of high-quality, industry-leading battery brands. Availability depends on your location and current inventory.

Why didn’t I get the exact brand shown in the picture? +

Due to regional inventory differences, the delivered brand may not always match the online picture. Rest assured—all of our batteries:

  • Meet or exceed OE (Original Equipment) specifications
  • Come with a warranty
  • Are produced by the same major manufacturers (AC Delco, DieHard, Duralast, Interstate, etc.)

Shipping & Orders

Do you ship internationally? +

Currently, Your Mobile Tech only ships within the U.S. and Canada. Most orders are fulfilled locally based on your location.

Do you ship to PO Boxes? +

Most deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Some smaller items may be available by special order—please contact customer service for help.

Do you ship to Hawaii or Alaska? +

Yes, we ship to Hawaii and Alaska. Extra charges may apply. If a local provider is available, they may fulfill your order directly to save costs.

How are shipping rates calculated? +

Shipping costs are based on the distance from the nearest provider or warehouse. Orders over $75 (excluding weight, core returns, or special items) usually qualify for free ground shipping.

Will I be charged sales tax? +

Yes. Sales tax is charged for all U.S. states and Canada, calculated at checkout. Resellers may apply for a tax-exempt business account—contact customer service.

Returns & Warranty

How do I return an item? +

Contact customer service for a Return Authorization (RA). Returns are accepted (minus freight) within 30 days—no questions asked. After 30 days, returns must go through the manufacturer’s warranty.

⚠ Important: Installed vehicle batteries are non-refundable. Warranty replacement only.

Are your items covered by a warranty? +

Yes. All products include the original manufacturer’s warranty. Vehicle batteries typically include 12–36 month coverage. Mobile-installed batteries are non-returnable, but warranty replacements are available.
